Tyler Waller is an Australian director, writer, and producer based in Sydney. Born on April 25, 2002, Tyler’s passion for storytelling began at a young age, leading him to pursue a career in filmmaking. After graduating from film school in 2025, he quickly made a name for himself with his work as both a director and writer.
Tyler’s debut feature project, Cooking with Corey (2024), showcased his unique blend of humour and drama, which he both directed and wrote. The film was praised for its compelling characters and witty dialogue, marking Tyler as a promising talent in the indie film scene.
Currently, Tyler is working on several exciting projects, including producing a short documentary titled Dreamland, which explores the diverse and unique areas of Redfern and Waterloo (Sydney, AU) in the midst of Gentrification and social change, and a short film, Where the Light Fades, a poignant story that delves into the emotional complexities of grief and healing.
