He counts on the help of Stefan, his old friend who lives in Lublin. However, it turns out that Stefan - a colonel and commander of the Home Army during the occupation - was arrested...
Micha艂 is among the soldiers quartered in a village near Lublin. By accident, he goes to the palace and visits the magnificent building, where he meets a widow Maria.
