La Terra Promessa is a documentary comparing the stories of two Italians who immigrated to the United States in the 1960βs and 70βs, exploring their experiences, traumas, and hopes for how they will be remembered. Inspired by stories I would hear as a child, I documented these experiences my grandparents had thought they had forgotten.
