Mysterious blind man Mata Malikat arrives in a small village and disrupts the peace, starting with killing one of the village's most respected fighters. The fighter's son then tries to avenge his death.
Barda the Blind (Ratno Timoer) while at Borobudur, is accused of being the murderer of Bimo Adirekso (Wahid Chan). The children who were killed, Subala (Adang Mansyur) and Subali (Adji Agus), did not care about people's accusations. They fight over their parents' inheritance until a big fight breaks out, which is useless, because the will and the treasure map are in the hands of Sekarningsih (Nuke Maya Saphira), also Ben's daughter, and her boyfriend, Bambang Permadi (Rachmat Kartolo). Barda Mandrawata (Ratno Timoer), also known as The Blind Man From the Ghost Cave, is in the Sarpala area which is being hit by a disaster created by the vile magician Tarub. After finishing his business, Barda intends to leave but is given Narisa, a child who is to be returned to his biological parent, Labone, the leader of Sarpala who has fallen in love with Barda despite being betrothed to Latongga (Torro Margens). Meanwhile, Latongga himself is being chased by Radina (Mila Karmila), a female child from the ascetic Sakti. Narisa is wanted by many warriors from various circles, including Tarub, and once he escapes from Barda's hands, Barda is forced to look for him.
