A girl from a peaceful, Edo-era Japanese village seeks revenge for the death of a disgraced elder with the help of her sister and a lethal lady ninja nun. It's the time of the samurai and ninja, and Shogun Yoshimune rules Japan. Beneath the idyllic façade of the quant villages populating the countryside dwells a twisted sexual underbelly that affects the wealthy and impoverished alike. When one of the village elders commits seppuku after being raped, Kaede and her sister decide to take justice into their own hands and track down the perpetrator. Aided by a nun who believes in Old Testament-style retribution, the two sisters embark on a bloody mission of vengeance. Along the way, the three women slice and dice their way through lies and secrets while discovering that the story behind the rape is much more complex than any of them suspected.

Her clan elder approaches a specific former member of their group, Sakichi, for his aid in the matter. Ultimately, she is captured and it is up to Sakichi to help her get to safety... but not before she settles the score with a rival lady ninja.

Lady Ninja Kasumi 6: Yukimura Assasination (2008)

The story revolves around a man named Takuma who works under the legendary samurai Sanada Yukimura teaching a secret technique called â€œKakure Musouâ€. However, Sanada won't allow Takuma to actually fight for him because he's hampered by a painful disease of the eyes. It's the worst kind of humiliation for a warrior like Takuma. A woman, played by Asami (Sukeban Boy, The Machine Girl), eventually makes a special medicine that helps him recover from his affliction. Meanwhile, Kasumi is sent to investigate a bandit who intends to assassinate Sanada. As the threat of assassination draws closer the shocking truth is exposed and Kasumi is forced to face off against an unlikely betrayer.

Lady Ninja Kasumi 7: Damned Village (2009)

Kasumi has continued her battles as a Sanada ninja to defeat the Tokugawas. Feeling her fatigue, her master, Muhu, allows her time for rest. On the way to her hometown to see her brother, Kotaro, Kasumi meets Toyo, who heads to Okusawa Village to see her fiancé, Yohei. Invited by her, Kasumi decides to stop by Okusawa, as she feels a great comfort she's never felt before with Toyo's innocence and honesty. Yosuke, the village chief of Okusawa welcomes the two; however, Yohei looks grim as he sees Toyo. In fact, the village has been controlled by Yosuke by using drugs. Toyo is raped by villagers, and soon Kasumi becomes a victim, too. Kasumi now stands up to save Toyo and exterminate the terrible fortunes of the village.

Lady Ninja Kasumi 8: Clash! Kouga vs. Iga Ninja (2009)

The conflict between the Toyotomis and the Tokugawas has grown more intense. The formidable enemy that appears before Kasumi and her fellow ninjas on the Tokugawa side is Nobuyuki, the older brother of Yukimura Sanada. Nobuyuki has one aim: to kill Yukimura. He leads a fearsome team: Jako, a female ninja who mesmerizes people with scent: Mukage, who freely moves and escapes on ground at will: Bunzo, who fights ferociously with only a thread and a fishing pole. These Kouga ninjas begin their attacks on the Sanadas. Meanwhile, Yukimura, Mufu, and Kasumi, visit the Kosuges, the master of which is Takayuki, a Toyotomi, whose younger brother, Shinzo, is for the Tokugawas and is deep in conflict. Kasumi and Shizu, a maid of the Kosuges, fall for each other, but Shizu is attacked by Jako's Kouga ninjas. Kasumi wages an intense battle with them, but soon finds out Shizu's dark secret. The battle rages..
