Series of direct-to-video and theatrical movies based the manga "Minami no Teiō"
First in the long-running series starring Riki Takeuchi as Ginjirō Manda, a loan shark in Osaka's Minami district, who shows off his brilliant debt collector skills against numerous enemies.

The owner of a prestigious nightclub recruits her, introduces her to a doctor in Osaka who performs the illicit surgery and even agrees to foot the bill. But when the club owner turns out to have ulterior motives, Rio turns to Manda for help.

Meanwhile, Manda hounds a factory owner named Yanagida for his interest payments, only to discover that he's only one of many victims of the evil liquidator Gennai, who profits off of other companies' bankruptcy.

When aspiring businessman Chiwaki borrows money from the LA mafia and flees to Japan to escape his debt, he soon finds himself being chased throughout Osaka by the local yakuza and a mafia loan shark. Chiwaki plans to get out of debt by investing in a high-end beauty salon, with a loan from Ginjiro Manda. Soon, Chiwaki finds himself pursued by Manda as well, who is willing to go up against the mafia to get his money back.

#31 in the King of Minami series. A washed-up yakuza named Fukunaga borrows money from Manda, unwittingly involving him in a sinister murder plot.
#33 in the King of Minami series. The CEO of a health food start-up borrows money from Manda using his fiancee's house as collateral, but when his American supplier demands more money than expected, he turns to a business loan company to make up the difference. Meanwhile, a hapless festival merchant turns to Manda when a run-in with the yakuza threatens to derail his business.
