The story follows the adventures of two young people, Lafiel and Jinto (along with the Abh ship Goslauth, aka Gosroth) who find themselves at the very beginning of a war between the Abh Empire and the Four Nations Alliance of humankind—an anti-Abh alliance of the democratic nations of the United Mankind, the Federation of Hania, the Republic of Greater Alcont, and the People's Sovereign Union of Planets.

Now in command of her own ship, Lafiel is assigned to the fleet as a destroyer captain, and eagerly awaits the opportunity to prove herself as a true Abriel. But when a new class of enemy ship appears on the front lines, the tides quickly turn for the worse. With her vessel now little more than cannon fodder, her dreams are turned into a desperate race for survival - can she and her crew survive amidst a battlefield of endless death and destruction?

A compilation of the Seikai no Senki II series with additional footage. The Abh star force won a decisive battle at Aptic Gate, completely breaking the counter offensive of the United Mankind fleet. Now a new operation has begun: Operation Hunter — seek and completely annihilate all of the remaining scattered fleet. Basroil, part of 4th fleet, was sent to the Lobnas system on an escort mission. Lafiel and Jinto were assigned to become acting governor/vice governor of the system and negotiate with the planet-side government to establish empire rule. But little did they know that that the Lobnas system is a prison planet of United Mankind and millions of prisoners are just about to start a rebellion to overwhelm the security forces detached there.
