Werner, Ralle and Tarik are a well-coordinated trio at Berlin's waste disposal service. Werner has been with the company for a long time and is a real leader - someone who says when he doesn't like something. This doesn't always go down well with his superior Dorn - a former refuse collector who has made it to the top. What nobody suspects yet: Dorn is planning modernization measures.
In the third film in the popular series, "The Three from Garbage Disposal" have to embark on an unusual "Mission to the Future". A 16-year-old environmental activist is sentenced to a one-week student internship with "Captain" Werner Träsch.

Meanwhile, Tarik's extreme jealousy puts his relationship with Werner's daughter Annika at risk.
