These consist of inspector Jan Erik Holm, Hassan Mohammed Arif Osman, Trond Olsen and Holms ex-wife Cecilie Melvold. The series paints a somewhat grim picture of Oslo, it is a place where no one is safe, where nobody is above threats and blackmail. Even policemen are subjected to harassment.
