January 20, 2001Ciske and Bruis visit Dorus in hospital. Ciske's mother takes him away from Aunt Ja'ns after having heard some bad news.
January 27, 2001Ciske is placed in youth prison for six months. He suffers under fellow prisoners but is supported by De Goei, who he knows from the institution.
