Space Angel

Season 31962

Space Angel was an animated science fiction television series produced in the United States from early 1962 through 1964. It used the same Synchro-Vox lip technique as Clutch Cargo, the first cartoon produced by the same studio, Cambria Productions. The series chronicled the adventures of three astronauts who worked for the Earth Bureau of Investigation's Interplanetary Space Force on board the spaceship Starduster: Captain/Pilot Scott McCloud, also known as "The Space Angel", Electronics/Communications expert Crystal Mace, and the immensely strong Scottish born Gunner/Engineer Taurus.

The crew battles Anthenian gladiators over a beryllium moon.

Queen Zora and others escape from prison planet, build an invisible pirate ship.

Johnny Kendall invents an antigravity saucer. Criminals try to steal it.

Planets collide, destroying a solar system.

A cook accidentally launches a freighter carrying megatomic bombs.

E14 The Visitor from Outer Space

Asteroid Eros erupts and changes orbit, endangering planets.

E15 The Rescue Mission

Crystal and others are marooned on high-gravity Prometheus.

E16 Space War

Marauders try to create war between the planets from a fake asteroid base.

E17 Dragon Fire

Anthenians take over moon 3 of Prometheus with dragon ships. Starduster shot down.

E18 Flight of the Hotshots

Space cadets taking final exam flight are the only defense against an Anthenian attack.

E19 The Fugitives

Queen Zora steals a Space Force ship, damages the Starduster, and attacks stations.

E20 The Encoder

Aliens send a teleporter robot to steal materials - including buildings.

E21 Project Hero

Taurus builds Charlie the Robot to get solar power crystals from hot planet Nero.

E22 The Frozen Planet

A planet sends signals that cause sound waves on other planets to damage buildings.

E23 The Plagued Planet

A planet is discovered with clam-like pods that breathe fire.

E24 The Donavan Plan

Prof. Donavan plans to take over the universe. He steals the Dart with a light weapon.

E25 Cosmic Search

Crystal and an Anthenian prince are kidnapped by a mystery ship. Crater Eddie debuts.

Queen Zora plans to take over the solar system with forces disguised as Anthenians.
